Custom Exhibitions for Worldwide Audiences

As Blue Paradox opens at the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago we take a look at how this immersive exhibition was designed and built to appeal to a worldwide audience.

The brainchild of sustainability-driven company SC Johnson in partnership with Conservation International, Blue Paradox opened in London in September 2021.

A sell-out, the custom built exhibition highlighted the urgency of the plastic crisis in our oceans and on the planet with an underwater experience inviting you to walk beneath the ocean’s surface.

Installed in Exhibition London, the space was huge, and featured a number of ‘rooms’ which needed to be built. Our set building team divided the space and installed state-of-the-art rigging and frames, laying out the visitor experience step-by-step, to create a sequence of individual rooms.

The construction process included full lighting, automation, sound and video installation, on all the walls and floors, with 360-degree digital projections, screen info-graphics and image projections throughout.

The result was transformational. A bespoke exhibition built to the highest specifications that fully immersed and educated visitors, and could be showcased internationally.

Confirming our talented set building team as one of the top exhibition builders in London and worldwide.
